Brasuíno BS1
A brazilian version of the most famous Open Hardware in the world - and it's Libre!
Brasuíno BS1 is a single board microcontroller inspired on Arduino that uses the AVR microcontroller. This Brazillian version was redesigned using Libre Software, and it's licensed as GPLv2+. It was designed for easy prototyping, and is ideal for students, hobbyists and designers interested in creating fabulous devices.
Brasuíno BS1 Characteristics
- Compatible with shields for Arduino Uno and the software Arduino
- Uses the microcontroller ATMEGA328 at 16MHz, with 32kiB of Flash memory, 2kiB of RAM memory and 1kiB of EEPROM memory;
- Uses a secondary microcontroller (ATMEGA8U2) that can be used by advanced users to create new USB devices based in the library LUFA;
- Individual crystals for each microcontroller;
- 8 analog inputs available, 6 of them in the standard conector;
- Protected power input against polarity inversion;
- Status LEDs and reset button available at the board edge, for easy visualization and operation;
- Libre Hardware: designed using libre software and licensed as GPLv2 - feel free to reuse and derive from Brasuino-BS1!
